Tres Marias® (‘Tres’ meaning; three) is family owned and operated business focused on bringing a ‘Taste of the Philippines’ to New Zealand.
Trusted and established for more than 20 years, Oscar and Mercedes Catoto (founders) begun the company from humble beginnings where they wanted to provide a better future for their family.
In 1990, they began a small frozen and home-cooked eatery business during the weekend which focussed on supplying Filipino migrants in Auckland and then later expanded into being a distributor of imported food products in Auckland.
Since then, Tres Marias® is now importing direct from the Philippines and supplying over 600 product lines to New Zealand businesses nationwide.
With a strong team of friendly and customer-oriented Filipino’s, Tres Marias® continues to create a unique and tailored approach by knowing their market and understanding what their customers are after.
In addition to our own branded products we stock the major premier brands from the Philippines such as Monde Nissin, Super Q, Ding Dong, Happy Peanuts, Boy Bawang, Barrio Fiesta, C2, Century, Datu Puti, Del Monte, Goldilocks, Jack’n Jill, Knorr, Lady’s Choice, Leslie, Lucky Me, Mama Sita, Oishi, Pure Foods, Regent, Sanmig, Skyflakes, Silver Swan, and Unilever and many more.
We are continually expanding our range of products, which are carefully selected for their quality and are very competitively priced, to accommodate New Zealand’s growing demand for Filipino products.

Staff
We work with our people to build their skills and ensure they are competent in the work practices required to deliver a food safe and quality assured product. Every Tres Marias employee is responsible for their input to the safety and quality of our products.
Suppliers & Distributors
We ensure that all products and services conform to agreed standards of food safety and quality. The products must meet New Zealand food safety and legal requirements. Through monitoring and review of our suppliers we aim to foster a two way partnership thus enabling feedback and opportunity for continuous improvement of all goods and services supplied.
